Eastern Water Development began operations in 1966, as a well drilling company catering to builders, individuals and a few businesses. More than thirty years and many thousands of wells later, Eastern Water Development has become one of the leading companies in the water production industry.

Maintaining the leadership established by its founder, E.W.D. has moved into its second generation of management, with a commitment to keeping abreast of the latest technologies and techniques.

While E.W.D. continues to provide water wells to many of its original customer base, the company also works closely with various environmental engineering firms, utility companies and major manufacturing facilities; providing every type of well from monitoring wells up to large, community water supply wells.
