The pictures attached are showing before and after shots of a 20" sediment filter being installed. Eastern Water was called to the site of a job over in Naugatuck, to take a look at the system they currently had in place and determine what could be done to fix it. After the technicians took a look at the system, it was found that a new sewage pumping basin was required. With a little hard work, Eastern Water had the new basin up and running in no time at all, and the customer was very satisfied with the results.
Today Eastern Water Solutions found themselves at an international Day Camp for overseas children, called onto the sight because the sewage pump was not working anymore. The pictures show the technicians in the process of removing their old sewage pump and re-equipping them with a new turbine-style sewage pump capable of pumping their wastewater some 400 feet higher than the camp's septic tank.
An easy solution for a new customer looking for their old well to be abandoned they called and Eastern Water came out to fix the issue for them. Here is a before and after shot of the job in question.
This system required the replacement of an old booster skid package that had been continually failing and costing more in electricity than the package was worth. We installed two new variable-speed pumps with sub-drives that reduce wear and tear on the motor and pump. This decreases peak electrical demand and supplies constant pressure to the entire school. This system is now far better and more reliable.
